Time to Vent
OK, no one is picking up there phone so I have no one to vent to so I am writing on my blog! I just have to say I love being a Navy wife and am so proud and love my husband very much..but these government offices are getting on my last nerve! First it takes them it seems like a month to do anything or get anything done! Or they lose the paper work and blame it on you and then make you fill it out again! Then when I the wife call to see if they are processing the paper work this time to keep on top of it, they talk to me like I'm stupid and tell me that my husband has to be the one who calls for any information! I must say this makes me feel like I don't matter at all, I'm his wife why can't I know about information that is about BOTH of us not just him? Aaron has never been the one to be very organized so I have always been the one to fill out important papers make important phone calls make sure things are going right and now i can't it is driving me crazy! Aaron sometime takes forever to do things so that just makes it worse. i just hate when I call an office hoping they will help me or at lest treat me with respect..and they treat me like I'm stupid and tell me that my husband is the only one who can have information...i guess God is up there laughing in his loving way right now because he is trying to teach me that now i can't take care of everything because I really can't take care of anything is a way to take some of the stress away from me and knowing that He will take care of it in his time not mine..Sigh...This is very hard but I think I just need to relax whatever that means, lol ;)

10 things I have learned about being a military wife....
1. It is the hardest job there is
2. Pray for your husband!!!!
3. When your husband comes home from school...give him at lest 30 mins before asking about anything :)
4. Military wives can get anything done when it comes done to it..even if that means calling 12 different gov. offices to find lost paper work that the Navy lost!!!
5. there is no stronger bond than between military wives
6. We take care of each other, no matter what, even if that means getting White LaMesa paint for the door that a child has colored on with perment marker 30min before they are moving out of the house!!
7 We can clean the house, go to work, cook dinner, wash all the dishes, fix the car, calm a child, all while her husband is gone.
8.We take care of each others children as if they are our own
9.We learn to talk in Codes and know what eachother is talking about
10.We always have the war , and will my husband have to go?in the back of our minds but you can't let it drive you crazy with worry all the time
But the most important thing I have learned is that these women in my life are some of the strongest women i know and would be there for me all the time I love them so much!

Family coming!

We have made it though over 2 months of living in Seaside! The time is flying by, we like living here in Seaside but it's not home, and some times we do get a little homesick, but home is where you make it. We have found a church that we really enjoy, and have made some great friends, all of the couples have children..which makes me very baby crazy!! Aaron and I can't wait to have a baby soon.
Aaron is going to school and it is very difficult but he is doing so well and has learn alot of words ( which i know none of).
We have tried to go to some places around where we live. We would like to see as much of CA as we can before we leave. We have been to San Jose Mission which was very pretty, we have also been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the largest Aquarium, I have ever been to it was awesome so much to see and do! We have also been down to Cannery Row a few times, Fisherman's Wharf, and Carmel by the Sea. The next place i would like to see is the Carmel Mission and go up to San Francisco. We were going to go to San Francisco a few weeks ago but Aaron pulled a muscle during PT and just didn't feel like going. He's doing much better now though.
Aaron's sister Ashley is in Ca visiting her boyfriend and after spending a few weeks with him and his family she is coming to see us for a weekend so that will be fun to show her around out new home. My mom and dad are getting to come fourth of July weekend which works out great because Aaron has off! We are planning on going to Yosimite National Park! I'm so excited Aaron and I have never been there so it will be so exciting to see it! Everything is going well so far will update again!

Navy Wife
Yesterday was so much fun! Our friend Julie who is a wonderful photographer took us to Carmel by the Sea, and took pictures of Aaron and I for me! I really wanted pictures taken while we were here of Aaron in his uniform by the beach and when I saw how beautiful Julie's pictures were i had to ask her to do them! I am so thankful for all the military wives I have met they REALLY are a true blessing to me. They have really helped me get into military life and know what to expect and want not to do! Even how not to wash Aaron's uniforms lol. Julie was telling me in the car yesterday how someone had the nerve to tell her and a group of military wives that we are not part of the military...needless to say that person was feeling very brave that day. I feel that just because we are not in uniform we have a very hard job and are as much in the military as our husbands. We are the one who wash, iron and make sure that crease in the pant is just right. We are the ones who cook clean and sometimes even hold down a full time job so out husbands don't have to worry about money. We are also the ones who wait on our husband to come home from war for months at a time, so that this country can have their freedom. So for all of you who think we wives are not part of the military you are dead wrong. Sometimes I think how that day is going to be when I have to smile and wave as my husband pulls out on that ship, and know that i can't cry in front of him, I don't like to think about it but know that that day will probably come..i know that it will be one of the hardest things i have to do, but I know that my husband is doing something great and I would not want it any other way.

New life
Wow sorry I have not written in a long time! Things have just been really busy! The moving Van finally came Monday morning with all of our things so I have been very busy trying to get our house together! It was so nice to be able to sit on our own counch and not a blow up mattress! Aaron has started school and it is very diffcult, but he can do it it's just alot of focus and studying. I'm trying to make sure I am postive and upbeat so he can come home and just relax a little. I'm not working right now and I do like it I have been able to get alot of things done around here that comes with moving to a new place so that has been nice. We became members of Lighthouse Baptist Church two Sundays ago now. We really do like the church it is small but some big things are getting ready to happen I can feel it! I am already going to be teaching the 1st and 2nd grades on Wed night and I am already signed up to do VBS this summer with the 1st and 2nd also, and I have also joined the choir it is a small chior but the people really do have hearts of gold and would do anything for you!
We have also gotten in a small group. it's really nice because all the couples are military and understand what you are going through we have a good time. We went to an Oakland A's baseball game,( yes I got sunburned, lol) and we have had small group on the beach it was beautiful! the beach here is my favorite thing. I some times will drive down and just have a morning walk, it is sometimes very cold and windy here so I can't do that as much as I want to. Aaron and I also like to go down to Cannery Row and shop and just walk around. I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to just spend time with my husband again! I'm so very proud of him! All in all we are having a great time just getting settled in, I have tons of pictures on facebook so go look at them!

Let me just start off saying how great God is! I went and took a walk on this beautiful day, and saw all the new green buds on the trees and it made me so happy! It made me think how amazing God is and how he gives the earth a whole new start! It also made me think how God is giving Aaron and I a new start. I am so proud of Aaron, and everything that he is doing he is me hero, I am so proud to be married to him! Never in my life did I think that I would be living by the ocean, or in CA for that matter. As I pack up our apt. I look around and remember the great times Aaron and I had here. I remember the first day we moved in and Aaron had put up the Christmas tree as a surprise for me and we had our first Christmas together. It will be sad to leave out apt. ( although I am very excited about our new home), and all of our great friends we have made here, but I am so excited to see what God has in store for us!
Aaron and I had some very hard times these past few years, and when things seemed impossible, and it the hard times would never end, God was always there for us. I am so thankful for those hard times because it made Aaron and I stronger. I am so thankful that God was with us through Aaron's boot camp and these past few weeks while Aaron has been in CA. For all of you who are going through some hardtimes right now know that you are not alone. Pray, pray, pray. God is always their for you. Jer. 29:11
